A Different Approach
Laneen Haniah's personal struggles with bipolar disorder, complex PTSD, and suicidal depression enables her to truly understand the needs of those battling these challenges. Her background as a certified mediator, licensed ministerial counselor, mother of seven, and Intimatologist—along with her public status as an artist and influencer—has given Laneen unparalleled insights into emotional health. She is able to see emotionality from a variety of essential human perspectives that can only be learned through years of firsthand experience. From a place of heart-felt empathy and in-depth understanding, Laneen has developed unique coping and healing strategies.
Laneen Haniah's broad-spectrum approach to emotional health allows her to create a pathway out of the darkness for those who may not have seen the desired results from traditional treatment methods. She lends intuitive clarity to suicidal depression, explaining it as—a nature, a mindset, and a lifestyle—as opposed to an act or negative emotion. She also debunks common myths and presents effective intervention strategies.
Laneen realizes that overcoming suicidal depression, or any other type of negative emotional condition, is about learning how to cultivate genuine happiness through aspiring to achieve Peak Emotional Health. By helping participants focus on the three pillars of a meaningful and happy existence—emotional authenticity, self-empowerment, and healthy relationships—Laneen is able to encourage, equip, and empower them to create a life they enjoy waking up to. It is her belief that most mental illness is preventable and reversible with the right treatments and techniques. She simply states it this way:
"If you enjoy your life, you won't want to end it. If you wake up and lay down happy and fulfilled, you won't live in a chronic state of depression and anxiety. Period, end of story!"
"If you enjoy your life, you won't want to end it. If you wake up and lay down happy and fulfilled, you won't live in a chronic state of depression and anxiety. Period, end of story!"
